Slugging Percentage (SLG, ISO & OPS)

Turn singles, doubles, triples, home runs and at-bats into the official MLB slugging percentage. It also gives you batting average, isolated power, and OPS when you add an on-base percentage.

How to use
  1. Enter your singles, doubles, triples, home runs, and total at-bats.
  2. Add an on-base percentage if you want OPS as well.
  3. Compare the figures against the league benchmarks shown.

Common questions

How is slugging percentage different from batting average?

Batting average counts every hit equally, while slugging weights total bases, so a home run is worth four times a single.

What is a good OPS?

An OPS around .800 is a solid regular, .900 is an All-Star level, and above 1.000 is elite production.
