Business Days Calculator (Count or Add)

Counts the Monday-to-Friday business days between two dates, or adds a number of business days to a start date. It can exclude US federal holidays using OPM observed dates for 2024 through 2027.

How to use

Common questions

Does it skip weekends?

Yes. Only Monday through Friday count as business days, so Saturdays and Sundays are left out.

Are holidays included?

By default no holidays are removed, but you can turn on US federal holiday exclusion to skip OPM observed dates from 2024 to 2027.
